To further our education initiatives, the AARS also offers seminars about Derailment Prevention & Investigation as well as Human Factor featuring Gary Wolf of Wolf Railway Consulting at various locations throughout the country. At these seminars, railroad managers, superintendents, engineers, trainmasters and others gain a working knowledge of basic track structure, performance, causes of common problems; examination of detail on axle loads, traffic density, operating speeds; optimal learning potential with presentations on railroad turnouts, crossings with details handling spots and learn about human factor issues plus much more.
