The seminar is presented by Gary Wolf, the preeminent expert in derailment investigation and founder of Rail Sciences Inc., a leading analytical consulting firm for the railroad industry that was instrumental in setting up corporate derailment efforts at two Class 1 Railroads.
Throughout a railroad career that began in 1970, Gary has studied close to 3000 different derailments not only in North America, but worldwide. Currently, over 2500 railroad officers have attended Gary's derailment seminars on over 30 different rail systems worldwide. He has published over 50 technical papers on track / train dynamics and simulation application, including one before the International Railway Congress Association in Copenhagen, Denmark, and one before the International Heavy Haul Conference in Brisbane, Australia.
